- The CTA consultant Macarena Ureña has presented "lessons learned" from the first DIVA call at an event organised by the Regional Ministry of Agriculture in the framework of the SmartAgriHubs project.
CTA has organised a coordination meeting of the European DIVA project on the 23-24th of September in Seville. The DIVA consortium formed by 10 entities from 6 European countries (France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece and Ireland) has participated in the event. The CEO of CTA, Elías Atienza, has welcomed the attendees and has highlighted the participation of CTA in 18 European projects related to innovation and new technologies.
Virginie Perron, advisor at the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) of the European Commission (EC) and DIVA project officer has attended the meeting. On behalf of CTA, the Agrifood technical officer, Nathalie Chavrier, and the Business Development consultant Macarena Ureña have attended.
The objective of the meeting has been to prepare the next DIVA call to incorporate digital technologies to the agri-food, environmental and forestry sectors, which will open in November.
The DIVA project has a budget of more than 4 million euros funded by the European Horizon 2020 Programme and an execution period of 3 years.
Lessons learned from the first DIVA call
The consultant Macarena Ureña has presented some "lessons learned" from the first DIVA call for grants, in a workshop organised by the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Andalusian Government within the framework of the SmartAgriHubs project.
The objective of the event has been to exchange experiences and detect opportunities in open calls for European aids. The first call for DIVA has financed 66 innovation projects.
