The Aerospace and Production Technical Officer of CTA, Silvia de los Santos, moderates a round table with the objective of adressing the challenges inside the aerospace industry in Andalusia and its international relevance.
CTA has organised a workshop to present the European project AeRoTwin and promote aerial robotics excellence at the Aerospace & Defense Meetings (ADM) of Seville, carried out on a hybrid format on the 26th and 27th of May.
The AeRoTwin project, where CTA is partner, has established a stable cooperation between the University of Zagreb and the technological leaders of the consortium to promote good practices in research and knowledge transfer.
This workshop was moderated by the Aerospace and Production Technical Officer of CTA, Silvia de los Santos, and included the presentations of the Professor of the Laboratory for Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems (LARICS) of the University of Zagreb, Stjepan Bogdan; the Professor of the Aerial Robotics Lab of the Imperial College London, Mirko Kovac; and the professor and chair of the GRVC of the University of Seville and scientific adviser of CATEC, Aníbal Ollero.
The speakers focused their presentations on success cases of unmanned aerial technology systems demonstrations in industrial environments like autonomous inspection of wind turbine blades, artificial intelligence for infrastructure drones and aerial robots for inspection and logistics.
The European project AeRoTwin is funded by the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Union (EU).
