The first EU project DIVA<\/a> Call for Solution closed on Friday reaching successfully results in terms of participation, since 147 proposals have been submitted from 200 EU SMEs. The project DIVA<\/a> aims to contribute to the digitization of the agri-food sector.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Spain, with 39 proposals, is the second of the 6 participating countries with more applications submitted, only preceded by France (49) and followed by Portugal (26), Italy (15), Greece (11) and Ireland (7). <\/span><\/p>\n

Andalusia has achieved a remarkable representation with 22 proposals, representing 56% of the Spanish proposals presented. In addition, there are 3 applications in cooperation, led by SMEs from other countries, in which Spanish SMEs also participate and 2 are from Andalusia.  <\/span><\/p>\n

The DIVA consortium, led by the French cluster Agri-Sud Ouest Innovation<\/a>, will evaluate all these applications to select the best projects that will be funded with aids of \u20ac 10,000 for maturity, up to \u20ac 60,000 for demonstration and \u20ac 30,000 for internationalization activities. <\/span><\/p>\n

The available budget is expected to finance 72 of the 147 proposals received, which include 31 of business maturity, 43 of maturing technology, 30 of small-scale demonstration, 39 of large-scale demonstration and 4 of internationalization. <\/span><\/p>\n

The role of CTA in this call consists of reviewing the eligibility of 25 proposals, evaluating at least another 25, managing other incentive contracts and paying the incentive for about 50 contracts of the maturity instrument. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA) participates in the European DIVA project<\/a>, with 10 partners and a total budget of more than 4 million euros for three years. It is funded by the European Horizon 2020 program (H2020), the great framework of the European Commission to support innovation and research. <\/span><\/p>\n

DIVA project, which has 10 partners from 6 European countries (France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece and Ireland), aims to boost the digitization of the agri-food, environmental and forestry sectors. <\/span><\/p>\n

The first call will distribute a total of 1.35 million euros in checks, with the aim of helping in the development of innovative projects of technological maturity, demonstration tests and internationalization activities.
