{"id":47204,"date":"2019-02-21T09:35:45","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T05:41:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev-cta.corporaciontecnologica.com\/?post_type=noticias&#038;p=47204"},"modified":"2023-09-29T10:16:56","modified_gmt":"2023-09-29T08:16:56","slug":"__trashed-1639","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/en\/noticias\/__trashed-1639\/","title":{"rendered":"CTA receives a delegation from the Croatian LARICS laboratory within the framework of the EU Project AeRoTwin"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The CTA Aerospace Technical Officer, <a href=\"\/sites\/cta\/.content\/ctaresponsable\/ctaresponsable-00014.xml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Silvia de los Santos<\/a>, and the Consultant <a href=\"\/sites\/cta\/.content\/ctaresponsable\/ctaresponsable-00019.xml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marta Mac\u00edas<\/a>&nbsp;have received this week a delegation from the <a href=\"https:\/\/larics.fer.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laboratory for Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems (LARICS)<\/a>&nbsp;of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Zagreb (UNIZG -FER, Croatia).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The visit is part of the development of the European project AeRoTwin, which is funded by the Horizon 2020 program of the European Union (within the Twinning call), with the aim of extending excellence in aerial robotics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Croatian delegation was led by Ivana Mikoli\u0107,&nbsp;Project Officer&nbsp;at the University of Zagreb, who visited the CTA facilities to learn about the model of innovation cluster and technology transfer of this foundation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, Silvia de los Santos and Marta Mac\u00edas will accompany the Croatian delegation to the ERL Emergency 2019 International Tournament of the European Robotics League on Friday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is an aerial robotics competition that takes place this week at the Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies (CATEC) and brings together technological centers and entities related to the application and use of robots and drones in emergency situations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Excellence in Aerial Robotics<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The LARICS laboratory is the coordinator of the AeRoTwin European project, which <a href=\"\/sites\/cta\/.content\/sgnoticia\/noticia_000462.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">will allow this Croatian center to incorporate good practices in research and technology transfer in aerial robotics from the rest of the partners<\/a>: the Imperial College of London (UK), the University of Seville (US) and Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The three-year project aims to achieve that these three entities help the Croatian laboratory to be at the peak of European scientific excellence, especially in the field of aerial robotics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">LARICS is a reference laboratory with a decade of research behind it&nbsp;in the area of&nbsp;robotics and unmanned aerial vehicles.
