{"id":47232,"date":"2019-03-27T13:02:00","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T05:41:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev-cta.corporaciontecnologica.com\/?post_type=noticias&#038;p=47232"},"modified":"2023-09-29T10:22:23","modified_gmt":"2023-09-29T08:22:23","slug":"__trashed-1638","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/en\/noticias\/__trashed-1638\/","title":{"rendered":"Andalusia leads a EU Project to analyze the quality of biomass for energy use"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Andalusia leads the <a title=\"More information about BIOMASSTEP\" href=\"\/sites\/cta\/en\/area-internacional\/proyectos-europeos\/biomasstep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Project BIOMASSTEP<\/a>, co-funded by the European Commission through the cross-border cooperation programme Interreg-Poctep, to develop a new methodology that enables bioenergy companies to evaluate the quality of biomass in situ for energy&nbsp;use between the Algarve and Andalusia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To guarantee the use of quality biomass is a fundamental aspect&nbsp;to consolidate&nbsp;the sector, since it is an essential to obtain good performance in the equipment used, as well as to ensure good air quality, aspects in which the Andalusian Autonomous Community has been working for years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Together with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agenciaandaluzadelaenergia.es\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andalusian Energy Agency<\/a>, this project is integrated by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uco.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of C\u00f3rdoba<\/a> (coordinators),&nbsp;Technological Corporation of Andalusia&nbsp;(CTA); Prodetur (Seville Provincial Authority); the Association of Renewable Energy Companies (APPA Renovables), AREANATejo &#8211; Ag\u00eancia Regional de Energia e Ambiente do Alentejo; AREAL &#8211; Regional Ag\u00eancia de Energia e Ambiente do Algarve; LNEG &#8211; National Laborat\u00f3rio de Energia e Geologia de Portugal and the University of \u00c9vora.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The BIOMASSTEP presentation event took place in the&nbsp;Seville Provincial Authority.
