Technological Corporation of Andalusia<\/span> (CTA) participates in the new ERA-NET ICT AGRI FOOD that brings 34 European partners<\/span> <\/span>together<\/span> to promote the development of digital technology solutions applied to the agri-food sector. ICT AGRI FOOD is <\/span>aimed at <\/span>facilitat<\/span>ing<\/span> a transition towards more sustainable and resilient agri-food systems in Europe.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The ERA-NET<\/span>s<\/span> are European <\/span>consorti<\/span>a<\/span> of R&D<\/span> and innovation<\/span> financing entities <\/span>coordinated<\/span> <\/span>to incentivize projects of international <\/span>companies\u2019<\/span> consortiums<\/span>. In this way, <\/span>e<\/span>ach entity finances companies in its country or region of origin.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition<\/span>, the ERA-NET<\/span>s<\/span> develop strategic research agendas and set priority lines that are transferred to the European Commission (EC) and influence the community policies.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The ICT AGRI FOOD project is coordinated by the Federal Food and Agriculture Agency of Germany and <\/span>cofunded<\/span> under<\/span> EU H2020 <\/span>program<\/span>me<\/span>. During its 5 years of execution, ICT AGRI FOOD will <\/span>open<\/span> 4 calls.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The ERA-NET ICT AGRI FOOD has just launched <\/span>its<\/span> first call for <\/span>projects <\/span>aimed at financing ICT projects that improve the agri-food system. The <\/span>deadline for <\/span>proposals <\/span>submission <\/span>is March 3<\/span>rd<\/span>, 2020.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

This initiative is an opportunity for Spanish companies that want to develop projects in <\/span>cooperation<\/span> with European entities. ICT AGRI FOOD allows all European partners to receive funding <\/span>for<\/span> develop<\/span>ing<\/span> a collaborative project.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
