CTA (Technological Corporation of Andalusia) has taken advantage of its participation in the Bioeconomy Marketplace to present BioInSouth<\/a><\/strong>, Robin<\/strong> <\/a>and BIOTRANSFORM<\/a><\/strong>, three European projects that are being developed within the framework of the circular bioeconomy. The event, organized by the ‘sister projects’ RuralBioUp<\/a> and BIOMODEL4REGIONS<\/a>, was held in Bologna (Italy) in parallel to the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy<\/a>, which took place in the same city at the Golinelli Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During her speech, Mar\u00eda Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, CTA’s innovation consultant, explained the objectives pursued by the three initiatives, as well as their current status, with special emphasis on the importance of this type of workshop to strengthen relationships between bioeconomy-focused projects with similar missions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ROBIN<\/strong> aims to promote innovative models of governance in circular bioeconomy<\/strong>, in order to support regional administrations in accelerating the transition to a green economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its part, BIOTRANSFORM<\/strong> aims to provide European policy makers with an assessment framework<\/strong>, a knowledge base and an ecosystem of experts to accelerate the transition from linear fossil-dependent to circular bio-based systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BioINSouth<\/strong>, co-funded with 3 M\u20ac by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE-JU)<\/a>, seeks to advise and provide assessment tools to public authorities and regulators in Southern Europe on the bioeconomy so that they can make decisions that will help consolidate the sector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
