The partners of the European circular bioeconomy project BIOTRANSFORM<\/a><\/strong> met on 14 and 15 November at the CTA headquarters in Seville<\/strong> for the last consortium meeting of the year. Eighteen representatives from the ten beneficiary entities attended the meeting, which divided the agenda into two blocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the first day, the partners of the project, co-funded by the Horizon Europe programme, presented the new features of the work packages. Specifically, discussions focused on the different tools that the consortium will make available to European public authorities and regulators to promote more sustainable production models<\/strong>, such as the LCA indicators that will be used to measure the environmental impact of a product, service, process, or system throughout its entire life cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants shared case studies from participating pilot regions, including Andalusia<\/a><\/strong>, and discussed the importance of continuing to engage stakeholders at all levels to identify potential barriers<\/strong> to the implementation of green governance models. In the afternoon-evening, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the historic city centre thanks to a guided tour organised by the foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second day was devoted to resolving administrative doubts, reviewing the schedule of deliverables, and checking the correct alignment of the new six-month action plan with the proposed objectives for 2025, the last year of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
