Niklas Schilling, coordinator of the European Association of Aerospace Clusters (EACP), then highlighted the key synergies between EACP and METASTARS, underlining how the two collaborate to strengthen the European ASD ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme continued with a special focus on how SMEs are facing the challenges related to the green transition, digitalisation, cybersecurity and internationalisation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Green Transition:<\/strong> Intervention by SpacEngineer and expert M\u00e9lanie Durth from the ANDALUC\u00cdA AEROSPACE cluster.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Digital Transition:<\/strong> Presentation by expert Jaros\u0142aw S\u0119p from Politechnika Rzeszowska University.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cybersecurity:<\/strong> Contributions by BitRezus P.C. and expert Mathias Julien from Cyblex Consulting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Internationalisation: <\/strong>Contribution by WaltR and expert Luisa Su\u00e1rez from Team France Export Occitanie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/METASTARS_FinalEvent-04122024-1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61405\" style=\"width:363px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/METASTARS_FinalEvent-04122024-1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/METASTARS_FinalEvent-04122024-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/METASTARS_FinalEvent-04122024-1-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/METASTARS_FinalEvent-04122024-1-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/METASTARS_FinalEvent-04122024-1.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the highlights of the event was the METASTARS Awards ceremony, which recognised three SMEs for their resilience and innovation in the sector:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>MAP SPACE COATINGS<\/strong> &#8211; Represented by Emma Bousset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ARSOFT<\/strong> &#8211; Represented by Alberto Manzano Guti\u00e9rrez.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Terra Spatium SA<\/strong> &#8211; Represented by Sofia Palafouta.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The day concluded with a panel discussion moderated by Fabienne Daveran from Aerospace Valley. In this panel, experts such as Eric Gouardes, Silvia de los Santos, Christina Garoufalia and Claudia Sidor shared their perspectives on how aerospace clusters support SMEs in aerospace:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Innovation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cascade funding opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation of international alliances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"756\" height=\"571\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/AeroSTREAM-at-AEROMART.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-63440\" style=\"width:407px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/AeroSTREAM-at-AEROMART.png 756w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/AeroSTREAM-at-AEROMART-300x227.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 756px) 100vw, 756px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to showcasing the achievements of METASTARS, the event also provided a platform to highlight other successful European initiatives supporting SME innovation. Among them, the <a href=\"https:\/\/aerostream.fer.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AeroSTREAM <\/a>project was presented as an inspiring example of international cooperation to strengthen research excellence in autonomous aerial systems. During the networking sessions, several organisations from widening countries showed strong interest in initiatives like AeroSTREAM and in upcoming cascade funding opportunities managed by consortium partners.
