Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA)<\/a> has brought together the partners of the European project<\/strong> CircleMED<\/a> in Seville for two days. This initiative aims to develop an innovative tool to measure the impact of the circular economy<\/strong> in different territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Framed within the Interreg Euro-MED program, this project aims to accelerate the adoption of circular and climate-neutral practices across various sectors in the Mediterranean region, involving citizens, businesses, and policymakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CircleMED focuses on participatory circular economy. Through knowledge exchange, its partners will develop various solutions, such as a tool to assess circularity in SMEs<\/strong>, the creation of a transnational network of hubs, and the design of plans to transfer its results across the Mediterranean region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CTA’s role in CircleMED is to lead the assessment of existing circular business tools, as well as to collaborate in the development of other activities such as analyzing social factors and consumer behavior<\/strong>. Attending the consortium meeting held in Seville were CTA\u2019s Innovation Consultants Marta Mac\u00edas, Antonio Carlos Ruiz, Jos\u00e9 Luis Gallego, and Communication Officer Sof\u00eda S\u00e1nchez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CircleMED is a project funded with approximately \u20ac1.5 million by the Interreg Euro-MED program. Its consortium is composed of seven partners from Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Bulgaria, and Spain. The project aims to promote the circular economy in the Mediterranean region through inter-territorial collaboration and the development of innovative solutions that help businesses, governments, and citizens adopt sustainable and circular practices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
