CTA has participated today in the founding event of the first Circular Bioeconomy Cluster<\/strong> in the agri-food value chain. The andalusian Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development<\/strong>, Ram\u00f3n Fern\u00e1ndez-Pacheco, presided over the founding assembly<\/strong> of the Andalusian Circular Bioeconomy Cluster<\/strong> in the agri-food value chain this Tuesday, a \u201cpioneering\u201d project promoted by the Government of Andalusia<\/strong> (Junta de Andaluc\u00eda) to foster collaboration, innovation, and sustainability in the agri-food sector from a circular perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Director of Consulting and International Projects at CTA, David P\u00e1ez<\/strong>, and innovation consultant Mar\u00eda Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, participated today in the constituent assembly of the new cluster.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, held at the headquarters of the Consejer\u00eda, the regional minister emphasized that this cluster “is not a point of arrival, but a starting point,” and highlighted that “it is a useful, dynamic, and unifying structure that will allow us to connect business, science, and administration to jointly address the challenges of the future<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new non-profit association, chaired by Grupo La Ca\u00f1a<\/strong>, is made up of fourteen key entities from the sector: leading companies, research centers, universities, and representatives of public administration. Among them are Grupo La Ca\u00f1a, Fundaci\u00f3n Cajamar, Corporaci\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica de Andaluc\u00eda, Fertiberia, COVAP, Dcoop, Ole\u00edcola El Tejar, Trichodex, Servicios Ambientales Las Chozas, and Cobiog\u00e1s Ja\u00e9n, as well as the Departments of Agriculture and Sustainability and Environment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Action Plan for the Circular Bioeconomy<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The cluster is the first measure of the Action Plan for the Circular Bioeconomy in the agri-food value chain 2025\u20132030<\/strong>, approved by the Board as part of its commitment to a more efficient, innovative, and environmentally friendly production model.
