CTA has participated in the high-level event FUTURE4BATT – From Waste to Value: Building Europe’s Circular Battery Ecosystem<\/a><\/strong>, held this month in Brussels and online, within the framework of the European project BATMASS, which promotes battery reuse and recycling across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CTA was represented by innovation consultants Paula Rosa and Antonio Carlos Ruiz, both members of the BATMASS team, who attended the event and contributed to the official launch of the Circular Battery Valley (CBV) Interregional Forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CBV Forum is a key initiative of the BATMASS project, designed to foster collaboration between stakeholders across the entire battery value chain \u2014 from production and reuse to recycling and blackmass valorisation. The forum seeks to catalyse interregional innovation and investment projects aligned with the principles of circular economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event featured several roundtables with institutional, industrial and scientific representatives, addressing topics such as battery policy and sustainability frameworks, industrial reuse strategies and blackmass recovery. It also included a participatory stakeholder workshop focused on identifying common challenges and developing joint actions across three thematic areas: Policy, Industry and Collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the participation of over 40 attendees from public authorities, research centres, companies and innovation agencies, the forum reaffirmed the growing commitment across Europe to accelerate the transition towards a circular and sustainable battery
