On 5 and 6 June, CTA participated in a new consortium meeting of the project, held in France and organised by the partners Orano and Green-Vision. During this face-to-face meeting, partners had the opportunity to review technical progress, share learnings and strengthen coordination between regions involved in the creation of a circular value chain for batteries in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first day was held at Orano’s headquarters in Ch\u00e2tillon (Paris), where the latest progress of the project’s industrial pilots was presented and the next steps for their implementation at scale were discussed. The sessions allowed to take stock of the work done in the last months, to address the main technological and operational challenges, and to plan the actions needed to facilitate the industrial adoption of the BATMASS<\/a> results. The meeting also contributed to strengthening the links between partners and fostering a direct exchange of knowledge in a face-to-face format that was highly valued by all attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the second day, the partners travelled to the Green-Vision site in \u00c9tampes, where they visited its workshop and test benches for energy storage systems. This visit provided first-hand knowledge of one of the key pilots of the project focused on the reuse of batteries in their second life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CTA was represented by Marta Gonz\u00e1lez, Communication technician, who is part of the project team. CTA leads the dissemination and communication tasks of BATMASS, contributing to make the impact of the project visible and to facilitate the transfer of knowledge between regions, companies and key actors of the European battery ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
