CTA (Andalusian Technology Corporation)<\/a> organized the launch of the Andalusian BioINSouth HUB<\/strong> on July 23rd, as part of the BioINSouth project funded by the European Union. The project aims to promote innovative circular bioeconomy policies and models in southern European regions, with the goal of establishing a collaborative network to strengthen and position this sector from a Mediterranean perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event brought together key stakeholders from Andalusia\u2019s bioeconomy ecosystem, providing a space to build on previous initiatives carried out in the region and to advance toward the consolidation of the sector and its international positioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategy and Action to Boost the Bioeconomy<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The event was structured around two key sections. The first part was dedicated to presenting the objectives of the BioINSouth project, its work plan, and the mission of the BioINSouth HUB of Andalusia: to create a regional circular bioeconomy space that connects and coordinates the contributions of the various stakeholders involved<\/strong>, taking into account the needs of the territory. Its vision is to support the implementation of the Andalusian Circular Bioeconomy Cluster, as outlined in the Andalusian Strategy for Circular Bioeconomy, by advancing some preparatory steps within the framework of the BioINSouth<\/strong> project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second part<\/strong> of the meeting focused on co-creating the Strategic Plan for the HUB for the 2025\u20132027<\/strong> period, as well as defining the priority activities for the first Semi-Annual Action Plan<\/strong> (July\u2013December 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Representatives of the Andalusian Ecosystem<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

It is particularly important to highlight the participation of representatives from the quadruple helix <\/strong>(public sector, private sector, academia, and civil society) of the Andalusian circular bioeconomy ecosystem within the BioINSouth HUB of Andalusia<\/strong>, following a multi-actor approach. Their experiences and perspectives enrich the HUB\u2019s approach, enabling a more comprehensive and collaborative response to the challenges and opportunities of the bioeconomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From CTA, the participants included Mar\u00eda Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, Project Manager and Innovation Consultant, who presented the BioINSouth project; Carmen Ronchel<\/strong>, Technical Manager of the Biotechnology Sector, who led the co-creation activity; and Carla del Cerro<\/strong>, Innovation Consultant and Communications lead for the project.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
