David P\u00e1ez takes part in a European Commission dialogue in Brussels on EU regional funding and competitiveness.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Director of Consultancy and International Projects at CTA, David P\u00e1ez<\/strong>, took part this week in a meeting convened in Brussels by the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Raffaele Fitto<\/strong>, to participate in the Implementation Dialogue on EU funding and regional competitiveness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with representatives from other European entities, the Director of Consultancy and International Projects at CTA was invited to participate in this exclusive high-level debate platform to complement the efforts of the European Commission in terms of better regulation and support for business competitiveness, from the perspective of cohesion policy and regional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specific recommendations were analyzed to improve the implementation of innovation funding instruments, such as the i3 instrument<\/strong>, for example, an instrument of DG REGIO<\/strong> for European cohesion in technological development, whose calls will open next November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was also attended by Hugo Sobral, Deputy Director-General of DG REGIO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic partner in international projects<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

CTA has established itself as a strategic partner in international innovation projects.<\/strong> It has already participated in more than 65 collaborative innovation projects funded by the European Commission<\/strong>, within programs such as Horizon Europe, Interreg, i3 or Erasmus+<\/strong>, and has collaborated with more than 500 entities from 45 countries<\/strong>. This international activity enables CTA to bring opportunities closer to the Andalusian business community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
