On 6 November, the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA) took part in the \u2018La Musa Re\u00fasa\u2019 event to promote the exchange of sustainable clothing. Silvia de los Santos, technical manager of the Aerospace and Production Processes sector at CTA, and Juanita Zenteno, innovation consultant, attended this charity event, held in Seville in the space provided by the coworking space workINcompan<\/strong>y.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, which brought together more than 30 participants, served as the setting for the second citizen living lab of VERDEinMED<\/strong>, a project funded by the Interreg Euro-MED programme, with the aim of promoting textile circularity in the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musa Re\u00fasa is a non-profit initiative, which receives no funding, and is celebrating its 11th edition this year. Promoted by Concha Ortiz<\/strong>, master of ceremonies and conference interpreter, it is a charitable initiative focused on the reuse of women’s clothing, also promoting sisterhood, solidarity and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During their meetings, participants exchange garments at symbolic prices, promoting responsible consumption and reflection on the environmental impact of the textile sector. Items that are not exchanged are donated to the NGO Madre Coraje<\/strong>, which collects and reuses textiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration between CTA and \u2018La Musa Re\u00fasa\u2019<\/strong> has made it possible to publicise the actions of the VERDEinMED project and raise public awareness about textile reuse, reinforcing the com<\/p>\n\n\n\n
