CTA (Corporaci\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica de Andaluc\u00eda) participated in a meeting with local stakeholders from Pilas, Villamanrique de la Condesa and Aznalc\u00e1zar, held on 15 January at Pilas Lab, as part of the European BIOSTARS project. The Aljarafe\u2013Do\u00f1ana area is the project’s development territory in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting brought together local representatives and forestry experts from the Regional Government of Andalusia with the aim of presenting the BIOSTARS<\/a> project, publicising upcoming activities\u2014from which local stakeholders will be able to benefit\u2014and promoting a space for participatory dialogue to gather information on the region’s needs, challenges and opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the day, a group dynamic was carried out, managed by CTA, in which different points of discussion related to the promotion of innovative circular bioeconomy solutions in the Do\u00f1ana environment were addressed. The contributions collected will contribute to the development of tools and methodologies for the project, reinforcing a bottom-up approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, Marta Mac\u00edas, Innovation Consultant at CTA, presented the organisation to attendees and unveiled the Do\u00f1ana Terra Innova project, led by CTA and funded by the CDTI, whose main objective is to promote sustainable innovation in the Do\u00f1ana area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was held in person at Pilas Lab, a new municipal building that will be officially inaugurated soon, and was attended by representatives of the main beneficiaries of the project’s actions.
