CTA (Technological Corporation of Andalusia)<\/a> has taken part in the kick-off meeting of the European project BLUEVISION<\/a><\/strong>, officially launching an initiative aimed at strengthening capabilities, safety and sustainability across the maritime sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held over two days in Thessaloniki, Greece, the meeting brought together consortium partners to align on the project\u2019s vision, governance structure and upcoming activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BLUEVISION consortium<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Funded by the European Union\u2019s Erasmus+ programme<\/strong>, BLUEVISION will run over the next three years, focusing on the development of Sustainable Predictive Maritime Maintenance (SPMM) solutions. The project will leverage advanced technologies such as augmented reality, digital twins and the industrial metaverse to drive innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond technological development, BLUEVISION aims to enhance skills and training opportunities for maritime professionals, contribute to a safer and more environmentally responsible industry<\/strong>, and encourage greater participation of women and girls in the blue economy, fostering a more inclusive maritime ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the framework of BLUEVISION, CTA will lead the development of entrepreneurial maritime incubators and deliver train-the-trainers programmes focused on Sustainable Predictive Maritime Maintenance (SPMM)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the organisation will coordinate the design of training content, workshops and capacity-building activities, while launching a pilot incubator in Andalusia<\/strong>. This initiative will actively engage regional maritime companies, bringing real industry challenges and operational data into the project ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through a multi-actor approach<\/strong>, CTA will foster close collaboration between companies, training centres, universities and public authorities, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and aligning project outcomes with regional smart specialisation strategies and the green and digital transition priorities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
