This leading event brought together professionals, researchers, companies, public authorities and experts to address the main challenges and opportunities associated with the energy transition and the technologies that will shape the future of the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AGERAR PLUS\u2019s participation in the congress forms part of the project\u2019s planned dissemination and knowledge transfer activities, with the aim of bringing its results to the scientific community, the business sector and other relevant stakeholders in the European energy ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-agerar-plus-presents-its-findings-on-energy-storage-and-energy-communities\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">AGERAR PLUS presents its findings on energy storage and energy communities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"681\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0378-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-71283\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.5040244403971565;width:428px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0378-1024x681.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0378-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0378-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0378-1536x1021.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0378-2048x1362.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the thematic session on \u201cFlexibility Mechanisms and the Market\u201d, held on 10 June, the project coordinator, Ascensi\u00f3n Zafra, from the University of Seville, gave a presentation entitled \u201cIntegrating prosumers into smart grids through energy storage, flexible demand and digital tools: results of the AGERAR PLUS project\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During her presentation, she outlined the main advances achieved by the consortium in developing innovative solutions to facilitate the integration of small and medium-sized prosumers into smart grids. The presentation focused on the role of energy storage systems, demand flexibility mechanisms and digital tools as key elements in driving more efficient, resilient and participatory energy communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project\u2019s contributions to the development of new energy management models capable of facilitating greater public participation in the energy transition were also highlighted, promoting a more sustainable and optimised use of available energy resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-a-space-for-knowledge-sharing-and-collaboration\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">A space for knowledge-sharing and collaboration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"681\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0356-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-71285\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.5040244403971565;width:511px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0356-1024x681.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0356-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0356-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0356-1536x1021.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/DSC_0356-2048x1362.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation in iENER\u201926 provided an excellent opportunity to share experiences with other projects, research centres, companies and public authorities working in the field of sustainable energy and smart grids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CTA supported the organisation of the project\u2019s participation in the conference and attended the event to bolster AGERAR PLUS\u2019s dissemination and visibility activities, helping to strengthen the project\u2019s presence at one of the energy sector\u2019s leading specialist gatherings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the two days, the conference hosted keynote speeches, technical sessions and discussion forums that fostered the exchange of knowledge and the creation of new opportunities for collaboration among the various stakeholders in the energy ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-about-agerar-plus\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">About AGERAR PLUS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AGERAR PLUS builds on the AGERAR and AGERAR II projects and aims to establish a common scientific and technological framework between Spain and Portugal for the development and validation of advanced energy solutions.
