{"id":71730,"date":"2026-07-03T09:20:15","date_gmt":"2026-07-03T08:20:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/noticias\/cta-participa-en-el-cierre-de-agerar-plus-que-culmina-con-nuevas-soluciones-para-redes-electricas-inteligentes\/"},"modified":"2026-07-06T08:29:22","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T07:29:22","slug":"cta-take-part-in-the-closing-ceremony-of-agerar-plus-which-concludes-with-new-solutions-for-smart-grids","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/en\/noticias\/cta-take-part-in-the-closing-ceremony-of-agerar-plus-which-concludes-with-new-solutions-for-smart-grids\/","title":{"rendered":"CTA takes part in the closing event of AGERAR PLUS, which concludes with new solutions for smart grids"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/agerarplus.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AGERAR PLUS<\/a> European project held its final results presentation and closing event in Seville, following three years of cooperation between Spain and Portugal to promote smarter, more flexible and more participatory electricity grids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event, held on 1 July at the University of Seville\u2019s Higher Technical School of Engineering, brought together 45 professionals from the energy sector, universities, technology centres, public administrations, companies and stakeholders involved in the energy transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CTA (Andalusian Technology Corporation) is a partner in this European initiative, which has spent 36 months developing solutions to improve the integration of renewable energy, energy storage, flexible demand and digital tools into smart grids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-innovation-for-a-more-flexible-energy-system\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Innovation for a more flexible energy system<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event provided an opportunity to share the key progress made by the project and to analyse the role of small and medium-sized prosumers, energy communities and digital technologies in the evolution of the electricity system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Apertura-institucional-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-71710\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.3333401151553377;width:338px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Apertura-institucional-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Apertura-institucional-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Apertura-institucional-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Apertura-institucional-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.corporaciontecnologica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Apertura-institucional.jpg 1718w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The institutional opening was attended by Andr\u00e9s Jes\u00fas Mart\u00ednez Donaire, director of the University-Business Secretariat at the University of Seville; Manuel Larrasa, president of the Andalusian Energy Agency; Paulo Santos, from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia at the University of the Algarve; and Carlos Bordons, professor at the University of Seville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, the partners presented the main results of AGERAR PLUS, including the development of six digital tools for advanced energy planning and management, the validation of solutions in the laboratory and in real-world environments, and the application of energy monitoring, control and storage technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project has also developed advanced control algorithms and virtual twins aimed at optimising energy use, improving system reliability and facilitating the integration of small and medium-sized prosumers into smart grids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most notable validation environments has been the Portuguese island of Culatra, which has served as a representative setting for testing solutions related to advanced energy management and the integration of renewables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-results-and-transfer-to-the-energy-ecosystem\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Results and transfer to the energy ecosystem<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the course of its three-year implementation, AGERAR PLUS has produced eight scientific publications and has promoted knowledge transfer initiatives, specialist conferences and opportunities for collaboration between universities, technology centres, companies and stakeholders in the electricity system across the Spain\u2013Portugal cross-border region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cAGERAR PLUS demonstrates that cross-border cooperation between Spain and Portugal is key to moving towards a smarter, more flexible and participatory energy system.
