\"Mesa<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Do\u00f1ana Terra Innova<\/strong> project held a Do\u00f1ana Circular Agro Working Group<\/strong> in Bollullos Par del Condado (Huelva), focused on the analysis of agronomic practices in woody crops and the forestry sector<\/strong>. Around thirty participants attended the session, including farmers, cooperatives, companies, technical experts and regional stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representatives from the wine, olive-growing and forestry industries, as well as input suppliers, engineering firms and industry associations, took part in the discussion. Their contributions led to the identification of several R&D&I priorities to be proposed to the CDTI<\/strong> <\/a>for future funding calls, including environmentally friendly fertilizers, advanced biological pest control, high-value waste valorisation, genetic improvement and protection of local grapevine varieties, and cost-effective solutions for water regeneration and reuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Needs and Opportunities for Improvement<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The meeting focused on identifying the current needs of woody crops<\/strong>\u2014such as vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees\u2014as well as the forestry sector<\/strong>. Participants analysed current agronomic practices to identify opportunities for improvement and promote innovative projects that contribute to the sustainability and competitiveness of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session was opened by Luis Berm\u00fadez<\/strong>, Manager of Onucoop<\/strong>, while Belinda Lagares<\/strong> and Pedro D\u00edaz<\/strong>, collaborators of the Do\u00f1ana Terra Innova<\/strong> project, moderated the working group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Do\u00f1ana Terra Innova<\/strong> project is led by CTA<\/strong>, with the participation of Asaja-Huelva<\/strong>, the Federation of Businesses of Huelva (FOE<\/a>)<\/strong>, the University of Huelva<\/a><\/strong>, Onucoop<\/strong> <\/a>and Seprocoop<\/strong><\/a>. The project is funded by the CDTI<\/strong> and supported by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities<\/strong>, under the Industry line of the Action Framework for Do\u00f1ana<\/strong> in its socio-economic dimension, promoted by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
