Funded by the Horizon Europe programme and <strong>coordinated by the University of Graz<\/strong> (Austria), the initiative will bring together research, innovation and public administration organisations from across Europe over the next four years to advance more sustainable biomass production and utilisation models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BIOSCALES will analyse <strong>five regional case studies<\/strong> in <strong>Romania, the Netherlands, Spain, Austria and Sweden<\/strong>, providing a basis for investigating different biomass systems and assessing the challenges, opportunities and trade-offs associated with their sustainability. The results will help identify new pathways to optimise the use of biological resources and support decision-making processes for public authorities, businesses and other relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Spain, the project involves <strong>the participation of the Andalusian Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development and Corporaci\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica de Andaluc\u00eda (CTA)<\/strong>. Both organisations attended the Kick-Off Meeting online and will contribute to the development of the Spanish case study. This collaborative framework will support the development of strategies tailored to the specific characteristics and needs of each territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-about-bioscales\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">About BIOSCALES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BIOSCALES is a Horizon Europe project coordinated by the University of Graz (Austria). The initiative brings together <strong>17 organisations from seven European countries<\/strong> to develop innovative approaches for advancing more sustainable bioeconomy innovation ecosystems.
