The European project DURABLE<\/a> aims to accelerate the deployment of renewable energies in the Atlantic region<\/strong> (Spain, Portugal, France, Ireland and the United Kingdom), through the application of drones and robots <\/strong>for the operation and maintenance of wind and solar energy systems<\/strong>. The application of this technology will allow automating inspection and repair tasks, reducing costs and favoring the production of clean energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project has a budget of \u20ac3.9 million <\/strong>and is financed by the Interreg Atlantic Area Program<\/a> through the European Regional Development Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DURABLE is led by the Ecole Sup\u00e9rieure des Technologies Industrielles Avanc\u00e9es and has 12 partners from 5 European countries<\/strong>, including three Andalusian partners: the University of Seville, Corporaci\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica de Andaluc\u00eda (CTA)<\/a> and the Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies (CATEC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
