The BIOCONFARM project<\/a> aims to establish an international network of experts and key players in the agri-food sector to promote the adoption of alternative methods of plant protection and strengthening,<\/strong> contributing to the reduction of the use of chemical and synthetic plant protection products in agriculture and forestry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative is based on a user-centred approach<\/strong> and support for demonstration initiatives through Living Farm Labs<\/strong>, conceived as open territorial ecosystems where farmers, cooperatives, SMEs, advisors and other actors in the sector share experiences, good practices and solutions that are already available or in the process of being implemented. These living labs facilitate mutual learning and the practical transfer of innovation, connecting existing knowledge with the real needs of farmers and plant breeders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BIOCONFARM (Towards a smart plant protection in European farms: an integrated living farm lab approach) works to increase the adoption of smart crop protection<\/strong> solutions through real-world demonstrations, the co-creation of practical materials for end users, and the strengthening of long-term relationships between the various actors in the agri-food system. The project promotes knowledge exchange based on direct contact, field visits, and participatory dynamics, especially in rural environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this end, a European network of Living Farm Labs<\/strong> will be established in countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, France and Slovakia, which will act as focal points for demonstrating good practices and disseminating techniques that promote plant and soil health, adapted to different regional contexts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":68593,"template":"","estado-del-proyecto":[],"proyectos--sector":[277,287],"proy-int--tipo-de-proyecto":[291],"class_list":["post-68598","proyectos-int","type-proyectos-int","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","proyectos--sector-agrifood-en","proyectos--sector-biotechnology","proy-int--tipo-de-proyecto-european"],"yoast_head":"\nBIOCONFARM -
