The European project BATMASS, in which CTA participates, will take part in the fifth edition of Battery Innovation Days (BID), taking place on 2–3 December 2025 in Graz (Austria) and online.
This flagship event brings together policymakers, scientists, and industry representatives to discuss the future of battery research and innovation in Europe.
Jointly organised by Battery 2030+, BEPA, and the IPCEI initiatives, BID serves as a key meeting point for the European battery R&I community — fostering innovation, sustainability, and the strengthening of Europe’s battery ecosystem.
For BATMASS, this event represents an opportunity to showcase its progress in advancing a circular economy for batteries, through innovations in recycling, material recovery, and second-life applications. Visitors will be able to learn more about the project’s contribution to the creation of Europe’s Circular Battery Valley (CBV), a model for sustainable battery production and resource management.
The 2025 edition, hosted by the Styrian Business Promotion Agency (SFG), will feature expert panels, networking sessions, the Battery Young Researcher Award, and a series of technical visits and exhibitor showcases.
Battery Innovation Days 2025 promises two days of collaboration, innovation, and a shared vision for a greener and more competitive European battery industry.
