The second dissemination webinar of our BATMASS Project, titled “Advanced Solutions for Battery Logistics and Packaging: Contributions from ERP Italia Servizi and University of Pavia”, will take place online on Friday, 24th April, at 10:00 a.m. (CEST).
The session will focus on recent progress within Pilot 1 activities, particularly the development of safe and sustainable solutions for next-generation battery logistics and packaging. Special attention will be given to innovative materials and processes designed to improve safety in battery transport and handling.
The event will begin with an introduction to the BATMASS project by Eda Ipek from AFIL.
Following this, Caterina Colombo from ERP Italia Servizi will present the design of safe and sustainable next-generation battery packaging solutions for logistics applications. Afterwards, Eliana Quartarone from the University of Pavia will introduce innovative chemical approaches for the development and testing of anti-flame gel materials aimed at enhancing battery transport safety.
A Q&A session will conclude the webinar, offering participants the opportunity to interact directly with the speakers and explore emerging solutions supporting safer and more sustainable battery value chains.
