AeroSTREAM at International Drone Show 2025

The European projectAeroSTREAM, in which CTA participates, will have a stand at the International Drone Show 2025, which takes place on 18-19 June in Odense, Denmark.

One of the objectives of AeroSTREAM is to increase the scientific excellence profiles of HEIs in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of autonomous aerial systems, and to share capabilities with partners from Spain, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. In addition, the project, which has received funding from the Horizon Europe programme, involves 14 European entities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Spain, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.

The 2025 edition of the International Drone Show is committed to consolidating itself as a key forum for the promotion of innovation in the field of drone technology, addressing strategic issues with a growing impact on multiple sectors.

Its main thematic areas include the role of drones in defence, security and operations in extreme environments such as the Arctic; the advancement of industrial use cases and the adoption of new technologies; the development of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) as a sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional transport; and the safe integration of drones in airspace. These areas reflect how the application of emerging technologies is redefining operational models, opening up new business opportunities and at the same time posing important regulatory, technological and social challenges that require collaborative solutions at an international level.

CTA will be represented by Marina Barquero, Innovation consultant, and Marta González, Communication technician, both members of the team involved in the AeroSTREAM project.

What is the International Drone Show?

The International Drone Show is an international event of reference in the drone sector, organised by Odense Robotics, Denmark's national cluster for robotics and drones, together with the UAS Denmark International Test Center, one of the most renowned drone technology test centres in the world.

This annual event, which in 2025 extends its duration to two days, is held in Odense and brings together professionals from all over the world to promote networking, knowledge exchange and the creation of alliances between companies in the sector, end users and scientific and technological institutions.

The event combines an exhibition fair with live demonstrations in a 1,900 km² airspace, offering a unique experience of direct access to the latest technologies in the industry. The 2025 edition also counts on the collaboration of leading publications and specialised networks such as Bots & Drones, Drone Industry Insights or Uncrewed Systems Technology.
