This one-day stakeholder event that will take place the 5th of June in Brussels and online is a joint initiative by the European projects REVITALISE, BATMASS, REUSE y RENOVATE, aimed at positioning Europe at the forefront of sustainable battery value chains. The event will bring together policymakers, researchers, industry players, and innovation support actors to explore how to accelerate battery circularity and recycling through technological collaboration, policy alignment, and interregional cooperation.

One day, two complementary approaches

The event is divided into two main parts:
• A Roundtable session to set the scene, share perspectives from key actors, and launch the Circular Battery Valley Interregional Forum.
• A participatory Workshop where different stakeholders will co-create an action plan to overcome challenges in the battery end-of-life (EOL) value chain.

Why participate?
1. Access key information on the current and future European regulatory framework
2. Connect with relevant players in the battery ecosystem in Europe
3. Discover results from pioneering projects
4. Actively contribute to shaping the future of battery circularity

Who is it for?
This event is especially aimed at:
Policymakers (national, regional): Align local policies with innovation and industrial needs.
Battery Industry (producers, recyclers, repurposers): Share technical and business challenges & opportunities, identify new value chain collaborators, create and shape joint opportunities.
Technology developers & RTOs: Present innovation outcomes and contribute to technical debates.
Project partners: Showcase project results and foster joint exploitation strategies.
Investors and innovation agencies: Explore investment and support mechanisms for scale-up.
