The Director of Consultancy and International Projects at CTA, David Páez, took part this week in a meeting convened in Brussels by the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Raffaele Fitto, to participate in the Implementation Dialogue on EU funding and regional competitiveness.

Together with representatives from other European entities, the Director of Consultancy and International Projects at CTA was invited to participate in this exclusive high-level debate platform to complement the efforts of the European Commission in terms of better regulation and support for business competitiveness, from the perspective of cohesion policy and regional development.

Specific recommendations were analyzed to improve the implementation of innovation funding instruments, such as the i3 instrument, for example, an instrument of DG REGIO for European cohesion in technological development, whose calls will open next November.

The meeting was also attended by Hugo Sobral, Deputy Director-General of DG REGIO.
