CTA has prepared and submitted more than 60 European project proposals in this year alone
  • These initiatives represent a total budget of over €270 million for innovative solutions, of which €32 million correspond to the organisation itself.
  • CTA’s multisectoral expertise and international network help to strengthen consortia and increase the chances of success of the proposals submitted.

Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (CTA) is consolidating its position as a strategic player in the preparation and drafting of proposals for European research projects, actively contributing to the attraction of funding and to the promotion of innovative solutions in key areas for competitiveness and sustainability.

In 2025 alone, CTA has been involved in the preparation and submission of more than 60 European project proposals, funded through various EU programmes. These initiatives account for a total budget of over €270 million in innovative solutions, €32 million of which correspond to the organisation itself.

CTA’s multisectoral approach is one of its main distinguishing strengths, as it enables the organisation to contribute to proposal drafting across a wide range of research areas. These include bioeconomy, entrepreneurship promotion, management of cascade funding instruments, as well as initiatives focused on sustainable development and on the identification and valorisation of critical raw materials.

Multi-programme approach

The Foundation implements initiatives funded through a wide range of European programmes, including Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg SUDOE, Interreg Euro-MED, the I3 Instrument, Interreg POCTEP and Interreg Atlantic Area, among others. This experience enables it to bring a high degree of adaptability to consortia, responding effectively to different approaches, requirements and methodologies, while ensuring management aligned with the specific features of each call.

In addition, CTA’s international network of alliances and its active participation in European clusters and associations provide key strategic value in transnational projects. They facilitate the identification of suitable partners, make it possible to anticipate European Commission priorities, and help to strengthen working groups, thereby increasing the likelihood of success of each proposal submitted.

Strategic Plan 2026-2029

For all these reasons, CTA’s Strategic Plan 2026–2029, following the recent celebration of its twentieth anniversary, marks a decisive evolution towards a model focused on strengthening its international presence and expanding the provision of advanced innovation services. This new approach reinforces support for organisations and companies in accessing competitive funding, consolidating CTA’s position as a key and trusted partner within the European R&D&I ecosystem.
