CTA, speaker at the conference ‘Technologies for the development of local energy communities in Spain and Portugal’

On 28 November, CTA participated as a speaker at the conference ‘Technologies for the development of local energy communities in Spain and Portugal’. The event, organised by the University of Seville, was held at the Seville School of Engineering and brought together experts, institutions and pilot projects focused on the transition towards a more sustainable and collaborative energy model.

Marta Macías, innovation technician of International Projects at CTA, represented the entity in one of the most relevant round tables, focused on key technologies for local energy communities. During her intervention, Macías presented the European BATMASS EU Project, where CTA plays a key role as a partner and communication leader. He also highlighted the project’s innovative pilot plants and their impact on the transformation of the energy sector.

The meeting, framed within the European projects AGERAR PLUS and CEL RURAL, underlined the importance of technological innovation to foster efficient and sustainable energy communities. CTA’s contribution to this event reinforces its commitment to the energy transition and its role as a catalyst for pioneering solutions at local and European level.
