The European projects BATMASS, IRMHUB and WELDIFY, in which CTA is participating, will be present at the sixth edition of Mining and Minerals Hall (MMH), to be held from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES).

Under the theme ‘Mining: a strategic pillar for Europe’s future’, MMH 2026 will bring together companies, institutions, professionals and experts to address the key challenges and opportunities facing the mining industry and its role in areas such as the supply of strategic raw materials, the energy transition, innovation, digitalisation and sustainability.

In this context, BATMASS and IRMHUB will be represented in the exhibition area via stands run by partners from their respective consortia. For its part, WELDIFY will form part of the event programme with a presentation of the project on 20 October at 1.30 pm in the Aminer Room, where it will outline its objectives, the results achieved to date and the training platform developed to promote the training of professionals specialising in the welding of circular and reused metals.

BATMASS works to promote circularity in the battery value chain by developing and scaling up innovative solutions for second-life applications, recycling and material recovery. For its part, IRMHUB promotes an interregional network aimed at fostering circularity and the sustainable supply of critical raw materials, as well as strengthening the investment and innovation capacity of European regions. WELDIFY focuses on capacity building and the training of professionals specialising in the welding of circular and reused metals, helping to expand circular economy models in industrial sectors such as the automotive and construction industries.

The 2026 edition will combine a large exhibition area with a scientific conference and various spaces dedicated to innovation and networking. The programme will address, amongst other topics, critical raw materials, R&D&I and digitalisation, sustainability, the energy transition, talent development and the optimisation of mining operations.

The involvement of these three projects reinforces CTA’s role as a bridge between the Andalusian innovation ecosystem and the main European initiatives relating to the circular economy, strategic raw materials, the recovery and reuse of materials, and industrial skills development.
