II edition of the Santander X Award | Spain

Banco Santander has launched the second edition of the university entrepreneurship challenge, Santander X Award Spain 2022, an initiative developed through Santander Universities. an initiative developed through Santander Universities that aims to promote the best Spanish projects and startups, boosting talent, competitiveness and employability.

The challenge, whose registration period will be active on santanderx.com until October 24, will be divided into two categories:

• Launch Launch: for entrepreneurs linked to the university - students, professors, researchers or employees - with early-stage projects with disruptive potential and highly scalable, with a conceptual prototype that allows validation with potential customers.
• Accelerate for highly innovative technology-based university startups, which are active with a product or service in the market and less than 10 years since their incorporation.

The candidates will go through a first selection phase in which a team of experts will evaluate the best projects based on criteria such as innovation and competitive differential, business model or profile of the entrepreneurs, and then move on to a second phase in which the 10 finalists will be decided. Launch and Acceleratte.

The 20 finalists, after a mentoring process, will participate in a final phase in which they will have to make a presentation of their projects before a jury of experts who will choose the three winners in each category. 2,000 to 5,000 euros in Launch and between 4,000 and 10,000 euros in Accelerate..

In addition, they will have the opportunity to compete internationally with the best entrepreneurs from other countries and represent Spain in the Santander X Award | Global 2022.
