EMPORIA4KT project will bring its blue economy technology transfer programme to La Palma

CTA will participate in the extension of the European project EMPORIA4KT that will bring its blue economy technology transfer programme to the Canary Island of La Palma.

The European Union has recently approved the extension until June 2023 of this project -which is funded by the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme- given the success that its development has achieved over the last two years.

To date, the Interreg Atlantic Area Monitoring Commission has awarded 6.4 million euros for 17 projects, including EMPORIA4KT, with the aim of capitalizing the results obtained and adding value to the Atlantic regions.

CTA participates in this project together with the Campus of International Excellence of the Sea (CEIMAR) and the Center for New Water Technologies Foundation (CENTA) of the Andalusian Government.
