The CTA consultants María García and Antonio Hurtado participated this week in a consortium meeting of the European project BIObec in Bologna (Italy) to work in the implementation of the project. This initiative aims to promote the education in the bio-based industry in Europe.
CTA, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS are the three Spanish partners of a consortium formed by 19 entities from 12 European countries, which have received a total budget of 1.5 million euros in funding. For 30 months, they will work together to bridge the gap between the bio-based industry and the education system by connecting universities, innovation laboratories and research and development centres in different European regions.
This project has been funded by the public-private Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
