CTA presents instruments to help companies adopt a bio-based approach

The CTA consultant Marta Macías has participated today in an online event organised by the European project BIOSWITCH to present the toolbox to help companies adopt a bio-based approach.

The BIOSWITCH toolbox includes materials adapted to the needs of each company depending on their bio-based readiness level: learning, adoption or consolidation. In addition, a self-assessment test has been developed to identify the level of maturation.

Some of the resources developed, which are available on the project website, are videos, webinars and reports and documents of interest, as well as search tools for potential partners to streamline the bio-based process, assess the sustainability of adopting a new approach and apply open innovation, among others.

The BIOSWITCH project is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme through the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU), with the aim of raising awareness and helping brand owners to switch their products to bio-based to enhance the European bioeconomy.

Through the participation of CTA and Grupo La Caña, Andalusia is being a pilot region, thanks to its great potential to develop the bioeconomy due to the importance of the agricultural sector.
