CTA participates in a multilateral mission to Peru organised by Extenda

The CTA Business Development Manager, David Páez, has participated from February 19th to 22th in a multilateral mission to Peru organised by the Andalusian Agency for Foreign Trade Promotion (Extenda) to learn about collaboration opportunities in projects funded by multilateral organisations.

Paéz met with the World Bank, the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), all of them funding agencies of the multilateral market, in which CTA is increasing its activity.

Likewise, the participants met with different authorities and representatives of Peruvian entities related to business development, innovation and technology, such as the Lima Chamber of Commerce, the National Society of Industries, the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, the Ministry of Energy and Mines and the Agrarian University La Molina.

In addition to CTA, other Andalusian companies such as Abengoa Agua, Ghenova, Inerco or Hispatec have participated in the mission.

CTA, a partner in multilateral projects

CTA is a member of the Multilateral Club of the Andalusian Agency for External Trade Promotion Extenda and has the competencies and capabilities to provide specialised innovation services to meet the needs of certain countries in which the innovation system is devoloping and new opportunities for collaboration arise.

CTA entered the multilateral market after winning its first tender in Peru, as a member of the consortium awarded an entrepreneurship tender tendered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (Minagri) of Peru and funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Recently, CTA has won another tender in El Salvador together with a local partner, Consorcio Creativo, for a project to support MSMEs (Micro, small and medium enterprises) tendered by Francisco Gavidia University and funded by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).
