CTA held the multilateral webinar “How to Finance International Projects through FIEM: Opportunities and Key Insights for Businesses”, a session aimed at companies within its Multilateral Network interested in strengthening their presence in international markets and exploring new financing opportunities for projects outside the European Union. The event was organised with the support of the Fund for the Internationalisation of Enterprises (FIEM), a financial instrument managed by the Spanish Secretary of State for Trade.

During the webinar, participants learned about the main features of FIEM, how the instrument operates and the opportunities it offers to support the export, investment and internationalisation activities of Spanish companies. The session also covered general eligibility requirements and the potential application of FIEM funding to different types of projects and international markets.

The event also gave attendees the opportunity to address questions regarding the financing schemes available through FIEM and to better understand how the instrument can support business initiatives with an international dimension.

As a complement to the webinar, interested companies were able to participate in bilateral meetings to discuss potential funding opportunities and explore how their projects could fit within the scope of this financial instrument.
