CTA strengthens its presence in european innovation networks by joining Textile ETP
  • CTA’s membership in Textile ETP will strengthen its participation in Europe’s leading research and innovation networks related to the textile sector.
  • This step opens up new opportunities for international collaboration and facilitates access to strategic initiatives in areas such as sustainability, circular economy, digitalisation, and advanced materials.

CTA has joined Textile ETP (European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing), the leading European network dedicated to promoting research, innovation, and competitiveness in the textile and clothing industry.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Brussels, Textile ETP brings together companies, associations, technology centres, universities, and other key stakeholders of the European innovation ecosystem to define common strategies, foster international collaboration, and accelerate the development of innovative solutions that enhance the competitiveness of the European textile industry.

Joining this platform will enable CTA to strengthen its position within European innovation networks and expand collaboration opportunities with leading organisations from the textile sector and related industries. It will also provide access to strategic information on technological trends, research priorities, European policies, and funding opportunities linked to the industry’s green and digital transition.

Through Textile ETP, CTA will be able to participate more actively in working groups, events, networking activities, and innovation communities focused on areas such as circular and bio-based textiles, digital transformation, advanced materials, and smart, high-performance textiles.

In addition, the platform plays a key role in the new European partnership Textiles of the Future, launched under Horizon Europe to support the sustainable and competitive transformation of the European textile sector. CTA’s presence in Textile ETP will help identify new opportunities to participate in international projects and foster synergies among companies, knowledge organisations, and public administrations.

With this step, CTA continues to expand its presence in strategic European networks to promote collaborative innovation, drive knowledge transfer, and help Andalusian companies access new opportunities for international cooperation and technological development.
