METASTARS, a European project to support SMEs in the aerospace ecosystem, shares its progress in Athens

The European METASTARS project, funded with 1.4 million euros by the European Cosme programme, held a general meeting last week in Athens, Greece. On July 3 and 4, the partners of this project, including CTA, discussed their progress and analyzed the applications for the funding call launched by the project a few months ago. The meeting was attended by Delia Gioffrè, CTA Innovation Consultant.

METASTARS will offer financial support to SMEs to develop innovative projects and benefit from services to adapt to new technologies, to develop or strengthen their green and digital transition, their innovation potential, their internationalization strategy towards Japan and Canada and the training of their labor force.

CTA is the only Spanish entity that participates in this initiative, which will promote the creation of an aerospace and defense ecosystem that will provide a wide range of services to ASD SMEs throughout Europe, with support for innovation, favoring the resilience of SMEs and the green and digital transition. Likewise, it also aims to diversify markets, creating new opportunities between different sectors and internationally.
