CTA takes part in “La Musa Reúsa” to promote circularity in the textile industry
  • The ‘La Musa Reúsa’ event is a not-for-profit initiative organised by Concha Ortiz, involving women of all ages.
  • The European VERDEinMED project, of which CTA is a partner, was represented at the event, alongside the MAS Foundation and the NGO Madre Coraje.

On 30 April, Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA) took part in the “La Musa Reúsa” event, an initiative aimed at promoting the exchange of sustainable clothing and encouraging responsible consumption. The event, held at the headquarters of the MAS Foundation in Seville, brought together around 40 participants in an atmosphere of collaboration and environmental awareness.

“La Musa Reúsa”, now in its 12th year, is a non-profit initiative led by Concha Ortiz, a master of ceremonies and conference interpreter. The project, which receives no funding, focuses on the reuse of women’s clothing and promotes values such as sisterhood, solidarity and sustainability.

This year, the event once again benefited from the collaboration of the European VERDEinMED project, funded by the Interreg Euro-MED programme and of which CTA is a partner, with the aim of promoting textile circularity.

At “La Musa Reúsa”, participants swap garments for a nominal fee, encouraging reflection on the environmental impact of the textile sector and responsible consumption. Any items that do not find a new home have been donated to the NGO Madre Coraje, which is dedicated to the collection and reuse of textiles.
