2nd BioINSouth Forum brings European bioeconomy stakeholders together in Seville
  • The event will run over two days (June 11 and 12) open to registered participants.
  • Hosting the forum in Seville further strengthens Andalusia’s position as a leading European region in the circular bioeconomy, supported by its strong agri-food sector, abundant biomass resources, and a rapidly evolving innovation ecosystem.

The European project BioINSouth will hold its 2nd BioINSouth Forum on June 11 and 12, 2026 in Seville (Spain), within the framework of the Circular Bioeconomy Summit. The event will bring together key stakeholders from across Europe to discuss the advancement of circular bioeconomy strategies, with a particular focus on Southern European regions.

The forum aims to accelerate the transition towards a more competitive, innovative and sustainable circular bioeconomy by fostering collaboration between public authorities, research centres and the business sector. It will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, dialogue and the creation of strategic alliances, connecting public policies, scientific expertise and market-driven solutions.

The programme will include thematic sessions, discussions and networking opportunities addressing key challenges such as the valorisation of biological resources, the uptake of innovation and the development of sustainable value chains. The event is part of the wider Circular Bioeconomy Summit, which offers a broader framework for exchange among international experts and stakeholders in the sector.

The agenda of the 2nd BioINSouth Forum will be progressively updated in the coming weeks. Participation requires prior registration through the following link:
